Expectations
For me there is no point in buing this strop, even not with the CBN Emulsion. A simple leather strop with a wooden base and some green compound (Chromoxide) has served my needs way better than this strop. What I have also found is that when I strop/polish the edge too much (even with the right angle), the edge might still be sharp in the sense of cutting paper or shaving, but it will loose its "bite" which is something that I cannot live without.
