The **Lion Sabatier Idéal Saveur carving knife 20 cm** is a stunning and flexible carving knife, designed to cut meat. For example, for cutting loose a chicken leg, piece of duck or spare rib. The handle made from walnut wood makes this knife not only practical, but also very graceful.

## Lion Sabatier Idéal Saveur blade

The blades of these knives are made from French 4116N steel. This is an upgrade compared to the standard 1.4116 steel. It's a stainless steel type and thanks to the addition of nitrogen, it's even more tough, strong and hard-wearing. The blade extends all the way into the handle and the bolster extends to the heel of the blade. As a result, the balance is outstanding and the bolster also ensures that your finger does not easily come into contact with the knife's sharp edge.

## Lion Sabatier Idéal Saveur pakkawood handle

The elegant handle is made from coloured pakkawood. This is a wood and resin composite that is wear and tear resistant. It can handle moisture and heat, and it maintains its colour well. This makes the handle incredibly low-maintenance! Nevertheless, we do not recommend putting these knives in the dishwasher. High heat and strong detergents can affect the pakkawood. The handle is nicely rounded making it feel great in hand. The three brass rivets are not only an extra decorative touch, they also ensure that the handle is securely attached to the full-tang construction.
