## Stainless steel blade

The blade is made from stainless steel. More specifically, 1.4034 / X46Cr13 steel with a hardness of 53-55 HRC. This is great for a first knife, as your child can first focus on safe use, and worry about maintenance later. The Marttiini Condor Junior is a durable knife that will last for many years. Its tip is rounded to help prevent pricking injuries.

## Patented textured rubber handle

A rubber handle was chosen to provide extra safety. To make sure you don't slip and cut yourself on the blade, there is also a large finger guard. The handle is small enough to be comfortable for children. The patented handle is made of rubber and has a subtle texture. The end of the handle flares out a bit, which gives the user a better grip when the knife is pulled out of the sheath or in use.

## Leather sheath

The Marttiini Condor Junior comes with a leather sheath. The sheath is black and features Marttiini's logo.
