The **Mercury Trek** is a large and elongated outdoor knife made in Maniago, Italy. This knife is clearly a knife of Italian design. The graceful lines, clean round shapes and subtle grip patterns on the handle: everything is just right. This knife is an all-round outdoor knife. Think of hunting, camping, fishing or outdoor cooking.




The blade of the Mercury Trek 925-25CVC, Green Canvas Micarta, hunting knife measures 13 cm in length and 4 mm in thickness. The total length is 25,1 cm.



## Blade made of Böhler N690 steel
The blade of the Mercury Trek 925-25CVC, Green Canvas Micarta, hunting knife is made of Böhler N690, a very corrosion-resistant steel from Austria. It is tough and easy to sharpen, even with relatively limited resources. Needless to say, it retains its sharp edge very well.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the Mercury Trek 925-25CVC, Green Canvas Micarta, hunting knife is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.
