The **Real Steel Barlow RB5 Droppoint Ivory G10** is a modern take on the classic Barlow design. It is a simple and sleek slipjoint pocket knife for everyday use. You open the knife with two hands with the help of the nailnick. This version has a droppoint blade and a white G10 handle.

## Real Steel Barlow RB5: choose between droppoint or clippoint blade

The Real Steel Barlow comes with either a droppoint or clippoint blade. A droppoint blade has a sharp point created by the back of the blade (the top) bending downwards from the back of the blade to the point. This creates a strong, versatile point that is good for general cutting tasks and precision work. A clippoint blade has a pronounced notch on the back of the blade, near the tip. This gives it a slimmer, sharper tip that is excellent for precision work and penetration tasks. 

## Real Steel Barlow RB5 interchangeable handle scales

The possibility of replacing the handle scales without affecting the construction is something fans were asking for, and Real Steel delivered. Two key points for these replaceable handle scales are that you only need to loosen one screw on one side of the knife to change the scale. And removing the handle scale has no impact on the construction of the knife. You can even use the knife without handle scales!

The RB5 is the first Real Steel knife with interchangeable handle scales. Real Steel offers a variety of replacement scales. These scales can be found in the combi deals as soon as they're available!
