The Shapton RockStar 60406 fine, J3000 grit, 4 micron, sharpening stone is a fine sharpening stone from the Shapton RockStar series. These sharpening stones are made of high-quality white aluminium oxide. This is a synthetic, ceramic material that is incredibly tough, and can accurately be produced in an exact grain size. The result? Very consistent sharpening results! A 3000-grit sharpening stone is a great final step for sharpening a kitchen knife. Going up a grit size is not really necessary.
