The Spyderco Para 3 C223GPDGY is the successor to the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Well, not completely. Mostly the same shape, same lock and the same type, only smaller. The Para 3 is one cm shorter. It is an adjustment many Spyderco enthusiasts asked for despite the widely acclaimed Paramilitary 2. The adjustment to a slightly more compact model increased the wearing comfort. Other than that the Para 3 includes all virtuoso characteristics of the Paramilitary 2.

This is a king edc knife the economics the many postions of grip the excellent fidget factor and one off my new favourite steels maxamet still not need to sharpen after weeks off use overall awesome knife and top service from knivesandtools

Being UK based, this is more for the collection and for indoor use. With that out of the way, I can say it is probably the perfect piece, if a little expensive. With its duties restricted to opening packages and slicing cardboard, the Maxamet blade will not need re-sharpening for a very, very long time. It arrived with a crazy sharp factory edge too. Overall an excellent knife.
