The small trekking backpack Akela 45 is designed for teenagers - ideal for scouting trips, camping and short trips. The pleasant V Comfort Vario system can be adjusted to different back lengths, ensuring correct hip belt positioning and efficient weight distribution. This enables back-friendly carrying. 

## Tatonka Akela 45 trekking backpack compartments

The Tatonka Akela 45 has a fully opening main compartment. This allows you to easily access the backpack's contents, even if something is at the very bottom. The separate bottom compartment is traditionally used to store sleeping bags, but it is of course also suitable for separating dirty clothes from clean clothes. This bottom section is too small for your sleeping bag, but thanks to the attachment straps, you can secure your sleeping bag to the bottom of your backpack.

The backpack has two large zipped side pockets, behind which an extra open insert channel can be used for tent poles, for example. There are loops on the top, the front and side pockets and the bottom for attachment options.

## Tatonka Akela 45 material

The front of Tatonka Akela backpacks is made of T-Snow Crust Eco material. This is a lightweight, wear and tear resistant polyamide fabric with a structure that resembles snow crystals. The material is waterproof thanks to the PU coating. The material has a PFC/PFAS-free finish.

The rest of the backpack, including the inside, is made of 420 HD Nylon FD Eco material. This is a High Density version of the traditional 420 DEN-Nylon. It provides high tear strength and the FD (Full Dull) gives the material a matt surface. The triple PU coating makes it waterproof. The material has a PFC/PFAS-free finish.
