## The spirit of Scandinavia 
Bornas is the name of the family farm of WESN's Swedish grandfather. Staying true to this lineage, Bornas is proudly made in Sweden, from Scandinavian materials. Elmax from Uddeholm Sweden for the blade, curly birch wood from the Scandinavian forest, and a leather sheath from Scandinavian cows. Sweden has long been known to have some of the highest production standards in the world, a heritage you can feel every time you reach for your Bornas. 

## Elmax steel blade 
Elmax is a high-quality Swedish steel. This steel is tough, easy to sharpen, and has excellent sharpness retention. And as if that wasn't enough: the impressive corrosion resistance improves durability, making Elmax a great type of steel. 

## Handle made of curly birch 
The handle of the Bornas is made from 'Curly Birch'. This is a cool type of wood with a warm look and feel and rich pattern. The end of the handle is enhanced with a lanyard eye to make sure you can attach a piece of paracord. 

## Leather sheath 
The sheath is made from stunning Scandinavian leather. This sheath allows you to attach the Bornas to your belt or carry it in your trouser pocket, this is possible thanks to the knife's compact size. A loop with press-stud ensures the knife remains securely inside the sheath.
