The blades of the knives in this series are made of Friodur ice-hardened steel. This is a type of steel only used by Zwilling. In the hardening process, Zwilling uses extreme heat as well as temperatures below 0 degrees in order to bring out the steel's best properties. As a result, you get the best of the best!
