The **Spyderco Native 5** has been one of the bestsellers in Spyderco's range since 1997. The characteristic feature of the Native 5 is its sturdy locking mechanism. The spring of the backlock can be opened smoothly, though it keeps the blade securely in place in its closed position. This spring also provides some resistance on the opening of the knife during opening. The G10 handle is lightly textured and provides plenty of grip. This is the linerless version of the knife, making it nicely lightweight. The S30V steel blade has a full-flat grind. This means that the blade is ground flat from the spine all the way down to the edge.

Hele compacte EDC die zeer robuust is gebouwd. De back lock is heel betrouwbaar, hij opent alleen wat minder soepel en je moet hem met twee handen sluiten.
De afwerking van het g10 materiaal was te hoekig voor mijn hand, dit is echt een EDC voor mensen die een compact mes voor zwaarder gebruik zoeken.

Même avec la montée des prix globale, le Native 5 G10 reste le maître incontesté du couteau pliant à mes yeux.
(Attention, j'ai obtenu la version avec liner et S35VN, mais je possède les deux).

Des courbes élégantes et un backlock au verrouillage inégalé (à part par Spyderco, sur le Native Chief et le Chaparral uniquement).
C'est le résultat de + de 20 années d'évolution et ça se ressent.
L'acoustique du couteau est encore meilleure sur la version avec liners, mais la verison disponible actuellement n'a pas à rougir non plus ! Elle perd en poids mais pas du tout en rigidité !

Le native est mon couteau préféré j apprécie sa forme sa prise en main et la qualité de la lame avec un tranchant rasoir je le conseille vivement

Met dit mes is niets aan de hand, maar.....ze mogen wel eens reageren op mails, afgelopen jaren meerdere gestuurd, nimmer een antwoordt mogen ontvangen.

Nu dus ook een leverancier gevonden die, en goedkoper is, en reageert op mails.

Ondanks de goede ervaringen bestel ik hier nooit meer.
