The spring of the backlock can be opened smoothly, though it keeps the blade securely in place in its closed position. This spring also provides some resistance on the opening of the knife during opening. The G10 handle is lightly textured and provides plenty of grip. This is the linerless version of the knife, making it nicely lightweight. The S30V steel blade has a full-flat grind.
