The **Artisan Cutlery Tradition** combines practical applicability with subtle and well-considered design, focusing on reliability and versatility. The blade has a drop-point shape, with a slightly sloping spine and a flat grind. This shape offers a perfect balance between power and precision, making it very suitable for activities such as food preparation and woodworking.



The Artisan Cutlery Tradition 1702P-GN, Stonewashed D2, Green G10 pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour green. With its blade length of 10 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12,8 cm in length and it weighs 170 g.



Opening the Artisan Cutlery Tradition 1702P-GN, Stonewashed D2, Green G10 pocket knife is incredibly fast thanks to the flipper, which allows for single-handed operation. The pocket knife is equipped with ceramic ball bearings making opening and closing nice and smooth. Once opened, the liner lock ensures that the knife is locked and will not accidentally snap shut.



## Blade made of D2 steel
The blade of the Artisan Cutlery Tradition 1702P-GN, Stonewashed D2, Green G10 pocket knife is made of D2. This is a tool steel that has been used for all kinds of cutting tools since World War II. It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness very well. Do take care around moisture and acids; D2 is not entirely stainless. It may discolour or even rust if not properly taken care of. Therefore, it's important to clean and dry the blade after use, and a drop of oil every once in a while can't hurt.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



## G10 handle

The Artisan Cutlery Tradition 1702P-GN, Stonewashed D2, Green G10 pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 12,8 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.
