The **Extrema Ratio Contact C** is a compact version of the Contact. Unlike its big brother, this knife has a blade of 13 cm instead of 16 cm. This makes the Contact C easier to carry with your gear.

The knife has a sleek appearance. This is partly thanks to its symmetrical spear-point blade shape. With the Contact C, Extrema Ratio heralds a new generation of multifunctional knives. The Contact collection is inspired by the popular Extrema Ratio Requiem. But there are some differences. For example, the blade is a bit higher. The handle isn't secured with screws on the side like the Requiem, but with one single screw on the end.

The minimalistic nylon MOLLE-compatible sheath allows you to carry the knife on your gear. Extrema Ratio has fitted the sheath with a click system that prevents unwanted rattling in the sheath.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## Forprene handle

The handle is made from Forprene, a durable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which has a rubbery feel. This gives you a firm, comfortable grip on the handle, regardless of the situation you're in.
