The **Extrema Ratio Ferrum R Black 04.1000.0365/BLK/BLK** is a lightweight rescue knife developed in collaboration with Andrea Micheli, a military and law enforcement expert, journalist and shooting instructor. With its slim and compact design, the Ferrum R is a good choice to carry alongside a larger, tactical Extrema Ratio knife. The Ferrum R can be easily stowed in a pocket, in small holsters for torches, or in a single loop of a MOLLE system, so you have the pocket knife quickly at hand.

The Ferrum R has three blades: a 3-millimetre thick blade with serrations for cutting ropes and textiles, a smooth blade for general use, and a scalpel for precision work or first aid emergencies. And finally, there's a small cutting hook on the back of the main blade, suitable for cutting paracord, for example.



Opening the Extrema Ratio Ferrum R Black 04.1000.0365/BLK/BLK rescue knife is incredibly fast thanks to the flipper, which allows for single-handed operation. The pocket knife is equipped with ball bearrings making opening and closing nice and smooth. Once opened, the liner lock ensures that the knife is locked and will not accidentally snap shut.



## Blade made of Böhler N690 steel
The blade of the Extrema Ratio Ferrum R Black 04.1000.0365/BLK/BLK rescue knife is made of Böhler N690, a very corrosion-resistant steel from Austria. It is tough and easy to sharpen, even with relatively limited resources. Needless to say, it retains its sharp edge very well.

Extrema Ratio was founded in 1997 in Italy. The brand has become famous in the knife world with their tactical knives for the military, police officers and firefighters. They use materials such as Böhler N690 stainless steel and Forprene handles for comfort and safety, even in extreme conditions.
