This Fontenille Pataud steak knife set is comprised of two Laguiole table knives with a handle made from exotic snake wood from French-Guyana. Named after the snake-like pattern in the wood. This is one of the most exotic types of wood in the world. The traditional 'shepherd's cross in the handle also looks amazing. The cross, comprised of rivets, refers to the legend of catholic shepherds who during their crusades to Spain, wanted to pray far away from a church or chapel.
