I was looking for a special pocket knife that I could pads on to my son as my father did with me, this amazing attention to detail knife ticks all the boxes and more from weight, design, materials used, craftsmanship and out of the ordinary design. The packaging isn't up to much though, but that didn't bother me too much. . The blade came out of the packaging extremely sharp, polished to a level that makes my best cutlery look dull. . This is not a knife I'd use for everyday use though as the finish is just too nice to ruin. I love the feel of it in my hand, smooth edges all around. The blade is quite stiff to pull out due to the tension on the main spring that keeps it open like a traditional penknife with no locking mechanism. I think it is worth the cost as I've spent slightly less on my EDC knives. Highly recommended to all thinking of buying that special pocket knife.
