These elegant **Fontenille Pataud Thiers steak knives** have stunning handles made from the burl from a walnut tree. This is a burl and cannot be compared to walnut wood. The wood is comprised of lines that twist through each other. The unique patterns in the handles give these steak knives a unique look and feel that is indispensable on a fancy dinner table and will definitely impress your guests.

 The blades are made from cryogenic hardened Z40C13 steel. After being forged by hand the steel is cooled down to -180 degrees Celsius making it not only incredibly strong, but also corrosion resistant. The fixed blade runs throughout the entire knife and has stunning filed decorations in the spine.

 You, of course, don't store a set of these types of kitchen knives in your kitchen drawer. That is why they are delivered in a stunning, lacquered wooden box.
