## Blade made of D2 steel
The blade of the Viper Basic 2 VT4032CG D2 Sheepsfoot Stonewashed, Green Canvas Micarta, fixed knife is made of D2. This is a tool steel that has been used for all kinds of cutting tools since World War II. It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness very well.
