Most of Viper's pocket knives are designed by famous designers and made from premium steel types and exotic handle materials.

Viper knives: blade

Viper knives are available in different steel grades such as M390 steel, Böhler N690 steel, MagnaCut steel and Elmax steel. These are steel types with excellent sharpness retention.

Viper knives: handles

The handles offer a good and comfortable grip and are made from different materials, including titanium, micarta, carbon fibre and different types of wood. The finest woods from around the world are selected and used for the wooden handles. The handles undergo a series of treatments that make them water-resistant and very durable, giving each knife a picture-perfect look.

Viper knives: series

The knives in the Viper collections are all made by experienced craftsmen. As a result, the knives are unique and of great quality, regardless of which collection they belong to. Viper has many series of pocket knives. Viper's main series include:

Viper Katla

The Viper Katla is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. His knives always excel when it comes to ergonomics and style.

Viper Hug

The Hug was inspired by the Birdy. One of his most famous custom models. Characterizing for this model is the slim design and the pointed wharncliff-style blade. A practical shape that dates back to some of the oldest traditional gentleman's knives.

Viper Berus

Even though the Berus is modest in terms of size, you still have enough grip over the knife. The blade is made from Böhler M390. An extremely wear-resistant type of steel that is stainless and retains its sharpness well.

Viper Basic

These lightweight and compact fixed knives were designed by Tommaso Rumici. This collection consists of the Basic1 droppoint, the Basic2 sheepsfoot and the Basic3 spearpoint. Each Viper Basic knife is a versatile knife meant for all kinds of cutting tasks, whether that's in an urban environment or out in nature. These knives are very suitable for food prep or for hunting purposes.

Viper Lille

The Viper Lille is a cool pocket knife, created by designer Jesper Voxnaes.

Viper Dan

The Viper Dan is available in two different blade shapes: the Dan 1 has a droppoint blade and the Dan 2 has a sheepsfoot blade, also called a Wharncliffe.

Viper Key

Because the Viper Key has a slipjoint mechanism, you can legally carry it with you almost anywhere. You open this gentleman's knife with the nail nick. The blade is made from M390 steel, and the liners are made from top-quality titanium making the knife weigh next to nothing.

Viper Vale

This knife combines Danish flair with Italian inspiration. 'Vale' is Danish for 'valley', befitting the Maniago Valley where these magnificent Vipers have been made for almost 40 years. With a blade made from CPM MagnaCut steel and handles made from wood or modern materials, the Viper Vale is user-friendly and versatile in use.

Viper knives: product types

In addition to pocket knives, Viper also sells fixed knives like hunting knives and tactical knives. Viper has built a good reputation for delivering products with attention to detail, craftsmanship and innovation.

History of Viper

The Italian knife brand Viper is famous for their collection of high-quality knives. Their manufacturing process has a lot of attention to detail and functionality is their top priority. The company was founded in Maniago, Italy, which is also known as the knife capital of Italy. The brand was born from a collaboration between Fabrizio Silvestrelli and Daniele De Simone, in 1987. At first, the brand mainly focused on pocket knives.

Viper knives include designs by well-known designers and knife makers, such as Jens Ansø, Jesper Voxnaes and Tommaso Rumici. These collaborations have led to knife models that are as functional as they are aesthetically pleasing.
