Knafs knife: cool designs by Ben Petersen

The name 'Knafs' may sound a little strange, but it's really just an alternative way of saying 'knives'. After all, if you pronounce this word slightly differently, you'll end up saying 'knifes'. Stick a southern accent on it and 'knifes' becomes 'knafs'. You might know Ben Petersen as the designer of the WE Knife Banter and Civivi Baby Banter. And now he also has his own brand; Knafs.

Knafs series

Lander 1

The Lander 1 is the very first pocket knife Knafs released! This compact EDC knife combines simple design with practical functionality. But what makes it really special is the ability to effortlessly replace the handle scales, allowing you to customize the knife to your unique style and preferences.

Lander 2

The Lander 2 is the larger version of the Lander 1. The Lander 2 is more robust, made of even stronger materials and features a handy clutch lock. As a result, the Lander 2 is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a reliable and versatile tool. And just like the Lander 1, Lander 2 also offers the option to customize the scales, allowing you to customize every detail to your preferences. The Lander 2 is manufactured by Kizer Knives.

Lulu

The Knafs Lulu is a fixed blade and a milestone for Knafs! This knife, manufactured in the United States with attention to even the smallest details, is a tribute to craftsmanship and dedication. The Lulu is named after the majestic mountain pass in southern Montana, a tribute to the rugged beauty of the American landscape.

Knafs product types

Pocket knives

Knafs currently has two pocket knives in their range: the Lander 1 and the Lander 2. These are not the only pocket knives Ben Petersen has designed. In collaboration with Civivi and WE Knife, Ben Petersen designed the Banter and the Sendy.

Fixed knives

Besides the pocket knives, Knafs also created an all-round outdoor and bushcraft knife with a fixed blade, called the Lulu.

Maintenance

Knafs has made sustainability their top priority. That's why Knafs' range also includes various tool sets for maintaining your knife. They also sell replacement screws and spare parts at Knafs to keep your knife at its best.

History of Knafs

Ben worked in the knife industry with Blade HQ and CRKT for 8 years. But besides that, he also had many ideas for cool products that did not necessarily fit within those frameworks. So, he decided to design stuff for himself. It all started with a poster containing all info he had on knives. That poster is, of course, also a fixed feature at Knivesandtools! Soon after, many more cool knife-related products followed suit. The brand has grown, now selling more than 150 products.
